we are planning a few days away in may next year and we have a great bargain for the algarve,is this as warm as say costa del sol that time of year?cant be bothered flying anywhere further for a few days!

we went to the algarve a few years ago at the beginning of may. the temperature was good, but we did have showers one day (waited till the clouds got overhead then rolled off the sunbed into the bar till it stopped) and an amazing thunder and lightening storm one night.
