Travel lodge charges
Booked a night for two at a travel lodge near Manchester Airport for what was a real bargain at 26, then on arrival was asked to pay 5 to park the car. Why did they not just say 31 all inclusive and have done with, it would still have been a good price ?
The other thing was that the food and drink was reasonable and good, so why spoil it ?

What I am getting at it is an unneccessary add on, which makes a lie of the advert to get you there. Natuarally not everyone has a car, But whether in ones twos or threes people mainly come by car, and the foot passengers must be a minor percentage. Furthermore missmoore has the right idea, but they should at least make a mention of the fact you have to pay.
By the way, this is the first time I have come accross it ! Cheers Hard@it.

On the Travelodge website it says about the Manchester Airport Travelodge
"Parking:
100 barrier controlled car parking spaces. Chargeable as follows:
1 night - 5,
2 nights - 10
3 nights - 15
and there after 15 per night."
so it's not as if it's a hidden charge. Would you think it right for me to pay an extra 5 for a facility I haven't used if I don't have a car?
As for having no money to pay for the parking, no doubt they would make a note of yir details and send a bill through the post or debit you via a credit or debit card.
