what are the best places to go to in dubai

I went to dubai for a week on a business trip a few years ago.

I found little to do in the city centre.

It is a fairly new city and in the 1950s there was almost nothing there, so there is very little history.

Much development going on, so it is almost like a building site.

The river runs through the centre and that is still a working river so it is quite interesting.

There may be more on the coast, near the expensive beach hotels etc but I never went there.

Oh, I forgot, there is the gold market.

Oh, and dont think it is a cheap place to buy things like cameras etc

They heavily promote the duty free but I found things more expensive there than in the duty free at the UK airport.

Wild Wadi theme park out of this world up hill water slides,Jamera scarra shear drop of a100 ftt plus fun for all from 1yr old 99, also 4x4 sahara dune excusion a must,there are many shopping malls new and you can buy just about anything best time to go, are mid Jan/feb shopping festival, happens all over Dubai , Cammel races, World cup richest race, and on course after races entertainment of top groups brought in from all over the world,end of march,hotels all 4/5 star if your wealthy theres the bur sha la rab 6/7star thats megga bucks, fantastic place, it will be my 4th time there this next March, and as holidays go it iis the safest place, ive been all over the globe,**********, t.his rates the top. check out last minute.com click on side pannel to dubai and you can see videos of entertainment places hotel and so on I know u wont be dissapointed have a fantastic hol. ps they have a ski resort out in desert real snow I will try thiis when I go in March xxxxxxx awesom chick
