Does anyone know where I can get new info on this as I have to get home tonight as I don't live near anyone!!!
I've tried to google it to no avail!

If you were working in an office this might be too late but I'll post it in case it's still relevant:
As far as I can tell, there's no disruption to services in Tyneside tonight. If so, the information should be shown on the Traveline North East Travel Alerts page. At the time of writing, there are no problems reported:

To check, phone Traveline on 0870 608 2 608. (If you phone from a local landline, your call will automatically go through to Traveline North East. If you phone on a landline from 'out of area', ask to be put through. If you call on a mobile, select the 'North East'option from the menu).
