nearest airport to a specified area

are there any sites that give you the nearest or a selection of airports for a given location?
For example. If i fancy a holiday in Calabria Italy, what would be the best airport to fly to?

This site http://www.whichbudget.com/en/ will give you a list of all the airports in any country (served by budget airlines anyway). If you click on the airport it will tell you where you can fly from there.

All you need to know is what towns are in Calabria.....

I answer loads of questions such as "Where is the nearest airport to . . .". (as, indeed, does Dzug). In the vast majority of cases a simple Google search will provide a good starting point. For example, searching for 'calabria airports' brings this up as the very first link:
