Has anyone stayed at Sol Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba?
I'd be grateful for any comments or reviews.

went to cayo coco in cuba in September had a fab time, they hotels are a little primative but are clean and livable. Food is basic but plentlful and the alchol is free flowing (especially if it's all inclusive). The staff at the hotel i stayed at were great and went on lots of excursions. I stayed at the Trypp cayo caco which i belive is only down the way from the sol. Weather was great, beaches were beautiful and i had a fab time, would go back again.

sorry forgot to mention. They are quite a poor nation, it might pay to take over any clothes you don't want any more and toliteries as well they always appricate things like that. When you go, take only english money with you, as this will give you the better rate of exchange (if you take travellers cheques, make sure you take mastercard as they do not take american express) If fact they don't take any credit cards with connection to the USA or travellers cheque, hence take Mastercard as they do not.
