I recieved a recorded delivery from Clubseasons
saying I have won a prize to the value of �2950 and to phone a freephone number to authenticate my claim
between 12 noon and 8pm within 7 days of the letter,
failure to do so will result in the loss of the prize.
Is this a scam ?.

This may be a silly question but, did you enter the competition?
If you didn't and the offer seems too good to be true it probably is. My cynical mind tells me you'd need to pay some administrative fees directly to the company. These fees may only be �20 but if enough people pay then the company is on to a winner.
Why not give them a ring and find out?
