trains to heathrow airport

does anyone know what train station i need to go to, to get to heathrow airport i'm travelling from birmingham but i dont know what the nearest train station is to heathrow airport

Heathrow Express goes from Paddington or connect to Picadilly Line on the underground

From Birmingham you might want to think about avoiding central London.

There are trains every half hour to Reading from where a bus runs every 20 minutes to Heathrow.

Alternatively, you can get off at Watford Junction and get a bus from there.

if you are travelling from birmingham, you may be better considering travel via Reading or Watford Junction (and on to the Railair Bus), and not venture into London at all.

i did it this morning! arrived in heathrow and walked to the central bus station (signposted) a bus runs 3 times an hour to reading (�12 one way) and then a train to Birmngham.
