My daughter is going to Eygpt in 3 weeks. I have been told by the doctor that she needs Polio, Tetanus, HepA and Typhoid injections. Will I have to pay for these? and is it to late to have the injections done?

It is not too late but needs doing immediately. Your doctor should be able to advise (if they don't do it) where you can go. You will have to pay - doc should be able to give you idea of cost. Otherwise talk to local chemist - they may be able to advise.
When I went in October, I left it until I had 2 weeks before travelling and was told that I was only just in time so I would get them done ASAP. I had them at my GP's and paid a 10 fee.
i had mine done nov 05 cos i went to egypt and it didnt cost anything. a booster was needed nov 06 (hepA i think) so im now covered for years, again didnt cost anything. i had mine done about a month in advance.
You are usually best to follow medical advice unless you have good reason not to. Vaccines are a good idea to go along with because they do not generally impart resistance onto the target micro-organisms in question in the way overused anti-biotics have. However, some of the vaccines are at best mediocre in offering protection. You might like to obtain information on such aspects in order to be in a position to put forward valid questions and/or make informed choices when deciding on travel medicine that you are encouraged to rely on.
