My son has just arrived in Krakow to celebrate his birthday with his mates. He's phoned to say his O2 mobile has gone onto 'emergency calls only'. I rang 02 yesterday and arranged for the international traveller service to go on to reduce his costs, mentioned where he was going and they never said there would be a problem. His bill is paid, his mates who have mobiles on different networks have no problem. Customer services is closed for the night, anyone had a similar experience? Thanks for your help.

He may need to manually select the network on the phone.

O2 has three partner networks in Poland. If the phone has selected one of the other networks, then it will show "emergency calls only".
