mosquito bites

is there anything that i can take before i go on holiday to stop the mosquitoes biting me last year i was bittten terrible and it spoilt my hols i tried all the repelants under the sun whilst i was there but no of them worked,

tia sammix please help i dnt want to be bitten alive :'(

yep Skin So Soft by Avon. British Army uses it in the jungle. Could be to keep the mozzies away or just that they like nice soft skin!
