we need a holiday!

hi, i have been on endless travel sites tonite but to no avail. i need opinions from people who have been away. me my boyfriend and little girl want to go away on holiday, it will be our first holiday away. shes 4. has anyone got any ideas of where the best place would be to go? we were thinking eurodisney but we dont have that much money to splash out. Is it really that expensive?

any ideas would be great?

Hi buzybee, we normally go to tenerife every year to a place just outside las americas, called playa de fanabe, Adeje. its not too crowded and the weather is in mid 70s at the moment, there are lots of child friendly restaurants, beach 2 minute walk, and most hotel complexes have entertainment in one form or another for adults and children, my son is 8 and he looks forward to this every year.we bought a timeshare for 2k 3 years ago and pay just under �300 pa for maintenance,so all we have to pay for now is the flights, also a taxi from the airport to our complex is ahalf hour drive and only costs �15,hope this will persuade you and your family, good luck

Why don't you guys go to Israel.
It's a great place for adults and kids- it's sunny, there's great food, there are exciting cities, nature attractions, kids museums etc.
That's my suggestion- you could go to the amusement parsk, beaches, snorkeling, lie on the beach, go to the zoo in Jerusalem etc.

I recommend Majorca. It's only a short flight away and not too expensive with nice sandy beaches. There's loads of deals on teletext.

Majorca, Majorca, Majorca. I work as cabin crew and travel all over the world. When my wife and I take my daughter away we love this island!! You don't say when you wish to travel but the island has good weather most of the year! We love Puerto Pollensa. Shallow beach, friendly locals, more classy than other resorts that can be mentioned. The hotels in travel co's websites with kid's clubs are good. (We stayed in the PlayaMar) Restaurants are child friendly, but resoer is not too English. Flights are aplenty, and reasonable.......have I said enough?
