You don't need to book for a short journey like that - just buy before you get on the train. �9.50 day return, any train.

There are cheap advance purchase tickets at �4 single - but they may be sold out for Saturday. They will have tie you to the particular train you book on.

It takes 40 minutes to an hour depending on fast/slow train.
