What to do and see in Newcastle

Sorry but i've posted this again as the last one was removed and I really don't know why!! Thanks to those who responded earlier.

I'm due to travel up to Newcastle a week on Sunday. Sadly this is a work related visit but as i'm not working until Monday i'd like to spend some time on the Sunday doing something. However, not sure exactly what there is to do in Newcastle. Anyone got any suggestions for a Sunday afternoon/evening.
