renewed passport

I took my passport to the post office last Saturday afternoon and today my new passport was back with me [ courier service], boy am I impressed or did they laugh at my "Olive type" photo so much they took pity on me ?
either way it was quick, anyone had theirs back quicker than that ?

My most recent pp took 6 weeks to renew! How did you get yours done that fast? What country do you live in?

I took it into a post office at the Abbey Arms, Barking Road in Canning Town.East London.
Yesterday they sent back the old passport plus one photo, so I said to myself at least they have accepted it, and blow me today about 8.30am , my dogs made such a racket and it was in the letterbox.
Probably Feb is not a busy month, because they could not have recieved it until Monday.
Or maybe they think I am a spy and spies get theirs first !!!

I took mine to the Passport Office on a Friday, braved the picket line (there was a one day strike) and it was delivered at 8am on the following Tuesday.

Mind you I had paid for a 7 day service but was still pleasantly surprised. I think if it hadn't been for the strike it would have arrived on Monday (or even Saturday if the courier operated then)
