Nursing abroad
Hi, im at uni studying nursing. in my final yr (next year) i have an elective placement where i can chose anywhere in the world to go. Does anyone have any suggestions? i dont want the regulars like australia and america cuz i know a lot of people are going to be applying and places are limited. Ive already been at those places and was thinking of somewhere where im not likely to get the chance to go again. Mabye St lucia or something like this? i have no idea where to start arranging my placement, has anyone done anything similar they can give me some guidance? Also im quite scared of going alone, will i be ok on my own and working full time in another country (im a whimp arent i!?)
Any suggestions would be appriciated, thanks

Your contract will also state a free ticket home once a year. You will get free accomodation but it will be sharing a flat with another Brit female[ I am presuming you are too], usually furnished to a good standard. The hardest bit is getting on the plane to go by yourself once there you will gain the confidence and wonder why you didnt get there sooner.Give it 3 months to settle in and if you still dont like it just use your salary to come back.
Dont choose Saudi where they are really strict unless you want to save money quickly because there is nothing to do and nowhere to go, and of course no drinks.

I went for a few interviews in Dubai...The American Hosp and Welcare Hosp....Absolutely fantastic..Offered amazing jobs with accomodation..There had been a mass exodus of nurses to Australia at the time....The lifestyle was out of this world...I was treated like a princess!....And British trained nurses are so well respected there...not like in this country....Didn't eventually take up the job offers due to personnal reasons ...But I would reccommend Dubai for the experience .
