London to Tokyo

I'm planning to go to tokyo in the summer and was wondering if anyone had any experience of doing this run with air france or cathay pacific? curious as to what service n flights were like. anyone have any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

I've flown on Cathay Pacific quite a few times and i have never been disappointed with their service. They are really polite, the food was great (then again i eat most plane food lol).

I've flown with them from London to Hong Kong and also Hong Kong to Japan, and i was very satisfied. So satisfied that when i was given a questionnaire to fill in, i gave them good feedback.

Cathay are a good airline. But, if you have a chance of flying an airline 'over the top', like, BA or Virgin I'd opt for that. That route takes about 11 hours (IIRC), going via SE Asia etc takes a great deal longer.
