We only went to the Ideal Home last friday and already I am getting calls that I have won a holiday and how lucky I am !!!!! standard answer-----if I have won please put it in a letter and send it to me. I am surprised that the Ideal Home condones this sort of thing.
I 'won' a holiday after answering a survey in the street. We went along to the presentation, didn't sign up for anything but got our free holiday which was only free if you wanted to go at a days notice, to book a date you wanted you had to pay for the flights. We didn't go, but every couple of months we get a phone call saying we've won another holiday and no matter how many times I say I'm not interested they keep phoning.
I this day and age of identity theft I am amazed that people still give out their personal details like name and phone number (and maybe more) to a stranger in the street.
I definately would not in the street or over the phone, Virgin phoned our house re their new credit card as I have air miles with them, we refused to give details over the phone.
But I did think that the Ideal Home Exb would have protected their public a bit more, silly me.
