Is Doha airport duty free open at 1am on a saturday night to buy tobacco etc?

Thanks chris. Will do. BTW thanks for your response to last week's question. That Bistro 1 restaurant sounds brilliant! Have you been? Are the portions generous? I imagine that they make a chunk of profit out of alcohol consumption.

Bistro 1 is great. I've been several times; the portions are quite generous. The drinks aren't particularly pricey. A 175ml glass of house wine is �2.75. There's further information here:

havent you travelled to Dubai yet ? when do you go ?
the airport duty free is open 24 hours as are all middle east airport shops. I hope its not Ramadan when you are there 'cos you wont enjoy it.

Yes I emailed them and got a reply saying they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Im going to dubai at the end of this month.
