I've not been but I was wondering whether you'd seen the reviews on Trip Advisor? There are 32 in English (and even more if you can read other European languages):

My daughter worked in the outside bar there last summer,(she's applied again for this summer). I'm surprised you are going in May, as the place is a complete shambles with alterations going on. They have funny "pyramids" at reception and a beautiful (but I suspect) a highly dangerous decking round the pool. There are a few shops and restaurants there, otherwise you have to catch the local tib bus to San An or the ferry (daughter's sometime boyfriend runs that). I think it's generally a nice place and the staff are very nice. Do check that it will be ready and open.
i went in september with the boys. beautiful bay, great weather, sit in whatever bars along the beach are playing your kind of music durine the day. At night go to bar street & take advantage of the offers to get you into the bars then move on to the next. I wouldn't bother paying to get into ant big clubs -they're expensive (entry & drinks) & probably empty in may. Get used to being offered drugs & african women. keep an eye on your bird & don't let her go out alone at night.
enjoy!

The big clubs won't open until june/july so no worries there.

Thanks everyone for your views, bit concerned about the shambles in may comment but can't do nothing now.
Don't worry surfer mike they will be working all the hours that they can, as it is a good hotel, you'll be OK, I was just surprised at the mess that was all.
toilet! Full of 18 year old Brits pilled up! But you before club season so may be ok Ibiza town much nicer
Hi surfer mike - just thought I'd let you know that I went to see Milord last Sunday and as predicted they are working 24/7 to get it ready. The pyramid thingies at the entrance look quite strange and they are halfway through building a circular driveway, but it will be ready. It has a very good name and you will have a super time. My daughter won't be working there this year, as she wants to rise above being a waitress.
