I'm looking to take my girlfriend to the Lake District for a weekend as she has had a bad time recently, just wondering where the best place to look for Log Cabins might be?

The official Lake District tourism website has a page dedicated to 'static caravans & lodges'. Most of the sites have just caravans but you'll find a few that offer log cabins:
