Is Barcelona a good weekend destination?

Yes! Barcelona is one of the most interesting cities in Europe. It has great art sights such as art galleries and wonderful historic buildings; very lively night life, restaurants, bars etc; lots of fun things, such as sea cruises and fun fairs; one of the most fascinating main streets in the world, the Ramblas, which has all sorts of things going on and is lined with caf�s; good shopping; and of course the lively Catalan inhabitants! You could stay for a month, and not see everything, but if a weekend is all you have, Barcelona would still be great.
