I am looking for suggestions for things for a group of guys to do during a stag-do in Madrid, in addition to the more obvious football trip. Anyone have any suggestions to venues/excursions and bars/clubs etc over there?

The general area of Puerta del Sol is pretty good for a collection of bars, clubs, etc. Just get off the Metro at "Sol".

take loads of drugs and see the sights charged up like scarface, before procuring loads of whores for a night of sex, more drugs and general debauchery. isn't that what stag nights are supposed to be for?

Check out staghen.com which has heaps of suggestions for stag do's in Madrid. There are over 25 activities listed including "capeas" where you get to fight a baby bull in the bullring of a hacienda, "clay pigeon shooting", paintballing, go-karting among others. Nightlife in Madrid is amazing but you need to arrange VIP entry into the clubs to avoid spending half the night queueing and I would recommend a bar and tapas crawl to take in all the best bars and nightspots!
