Could anyone tell me how long you need left on your passport to travel in the eu. Travelling next Friday and the passport expires in September

Someone told me the same thing, 2 months left I had no problem in Holland, I'm going to US next month someone else told the six month rule. Just phoned the US embassy told can travel right up to expiry.

im sure it has to be in date by 6 months

It is a popular myth that your passport has to be valid 6 months to go to the US - it doesn't. It just has to ba valid when you plan to leave the US
