I guess this kinda answers your question in a backwards sort of way! Dont go to Playa Dora unless you want 2 weeks of food poisioning and unhelpful staff.

If you want a caribbean Island though I'm going Margarita in a few weeks so I'll let you know what it's like

thanku, i will make sure i dont go to playa Dora, i would like to make the most of a holiday not to spend the time in the bathroom

Been to D.R. many times....try Playa La Blanca...northern tope of the Island. Sousia....where the original Jewish colony was is a great and beautiful place. a lot of very nice small and cheap resorts on the sea....should have a lot of fun for cheap and good vacation...enjoy..Hank
