I am seriously thinking about saving up money (will take me a few years) and going travelling... not for long.. but it's something I would love to do and I know it's best to do it while I am young and don't have any commitments ... I know everyone will still be here when I get back... I just need to think it through. I think one of the main things stopping me is my Grandad as he isn't very well and his health isn't looking to good lately and I'd hate to be somewhere else if something happened.. but I really want some time on my own.. discover myself and do some soul searching.

Has anyone here done it? And if so... was it worth is?

I'd love to go to Rome, Venice, Milan... also going to go to Paris with my sister....
Sardinia , ooo that sounds lovely , you will enjoy that break. Paris is a city I haven't been to but would like to before long.
It's lovely that you can go with your sister . :-) xx
Some of the biggest spiders I have ever seen were in Italy.

I haven't booked the Paris thing or set a date but I am very excited... Perhaps I could just take loads of little trips on my own.. that way I wouldn't be away from home too long... (although thats the idea).. but I would be out travelling!

Wardy - Why would you do that to me? You know I hate that!
Are there really big spiders in Italy? Coz I am staying in my friends country house! Oh no!
Well tarantula is an Italian word. It comes from Taranto, which is a port in southern Italy.

Don't be scared rubes, be brave. Very brave.
