Ferry crossing Tunisia to Sicily
4 Answers
Hi..am having trouble finding much info on the above..I have found the site of the ferry company but for info that's useless in the extreme.
In September we are going by motorbike from here (Malaga) to Morocco/Algeria/Tunisia/Sicily/Italy/Monaco/France and back along the Spanish coast to home..anyone got any tips for things to see (out of the ordinary not megga touristy places), but really specifically the ferry crossing.
Every bit of advice would be useful...thanks chaps and chapesses

Jase.. dont know if you will see this but we have decided to give the N Africa stretch a miss 'till we can do it with friends (for the very reasons you have been advised against the area), we live in Spain and the extra insurance and breakdown cover for the bike are also prohibitive factors. We leave on Friday 3rd Sept and will mgo from here (Malaga) to Sicily through Italy and back taking about a month. If you want to stay in touch you can contact us direct through www.casalindo.spain.com as I cant put an email addie on here... the Sicily /Tunis ferry goes overnight once a week and evidentally the paperwork is strict.. it is also best to book beforehand as we know of people who couldnt get on and had to kick their heels for an expensive extra week. regards Trudi
