Ive been to New York several times and have flown into JFK. Ive now found cheap(ish) flights that fly into Newark.

Could anyone tell me how long it takes to travel (bus or taxi) from Newark airport to the centre of Manhattan?

Is it worth paying a bit extra to fly into JFK?

Cheers !

Hell no, I'd rather fly into Newark than JFK! The cost of a taxi is about the same as from JFK and you can always get the bus. I got the bus into the Port Authority which is about 3 blocks from Times Square for about $12. When I flew into Newark it was quicker to get to Times Square than it was from JFK.
All you have to do is type in the starting point and your destination here - it will give you the total mileage and directions also:
