i used to stay at the REGENT PALACE hotelwhich has now closed. Ok it was very ordinary but was chaep , does anyone know of good reasonably priced [� 50 - 60] for a single room with elevator as i am partially disabled , can walk.

The various travel lodges often have cheap rooms (from �15 or �26 for early booking). You'd need to check each one about disabled access - most have but a few in London don't
You could try the Royal National Hotel. It is just off Russel Square. I believe it is the largest hotel in London but therefore has lots of lifts!

I've stayed there a few times and it's always been ok.
I have just returned from a trip to London and I stayed at the Thistle Euston(they do have more in other areas ) it was very well equipped for the disabled,, two lifts ,safety handles on the toilet and a seat in the shower.I paid �69 for a single room which contained a three -quarter bed plus full English breakfast.
Well worth the money,really recommend it.
