Italy recommendation

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good family holiday in Italy for next summer - probably first two weeks in July. Looking for access to a decent pool and plenty of nice places to eat with two kids 7 and 6. Doesn't need to be too cheap, we were saving up for florida, but have changed our minds - too hot, one son does not like rides and I get too annoyed with crowds and queues. We all enjoy italian food, so......change of plan!
