Any suggestions please where to go for a 3 night break in January in the south of England (not Devon or Cornwall) for an extended family party of 6, ranging in age from 69 to 1!?! Thanks.

Bournemouth has a lot to offer and the New Forest is nearby. If you go to the beachfront in winter at least you have sand and not the pebble beaches of Sussex.

Not sure to what degree your budget stretches but you can also go to nearby Poole Harbour and take a day trip to France or Channel Islands.
