Hi I am off camping on Friday for two weeks in Cornwall. I dont think its going to be beach holiday somehow so can anyone recommend somewhere to go and hve a good time in the wet - kids friendly. I have various guide books and the net etc but there is so much choice. I just thought someone could recomend something as you always get a good recomendation by word of mouth. I would like to go to the cliffs and see some of the iconic mine shafts that you see on tv etc so can anyone recommend wheres best to see them and one you can visit?

please see link above (hope it works). I was trying to get hold of my sister as she is just back from 10 days in Cornwall - cant reach her though. Although forecast seemed bad she has said they have managed to get at least 5 days enjoying themselves on the beach. You are able to hire dry suits which gives a bit of warmth and have fun in the water. I dont know exact details of all places but was trying to find them and felt site above quite good. Anyway I know they enjoyed the Eden project, Tramar Valley Donkey park and also the National Seal Sanctuary. Sorry cant get definate info and not sure what age your family are but she was there camping with children almost 4 and 8 - would have liked weather to have been better but have an absolute ball and the kids cried as did not want to leave!
give Looe a whirl.
I went there once by accident then about 30 times on purpose.
Depends where you are in Cornwall, but if you're out the Plymouth sort of area then The Eden Project, Morwellham Quay and Plymouth (especially the Barbian area).

Thanks for prompt replies - fingers crossed eh
My sister lives in Cornwall , near the famous Kit Hill .
When you get down there you will find lots of places with tourist attraction booklets and leaflets, there's no shortage of things to do with for both children and adults.:-)
