Gouranga
Thought I saw a question relating to this but can't see the answer. What is it and why do you see it on motorway bridges? P.S. What's the quickest way of recovering a question on Answebank without going through all the answered questions? It was no longer on the most recently asked questions list.

ranga - although I've only ever seen it on motorway bridges around Sheffield (that would be the M1).
It's never really easy to find questions on AnswerBank, Top Cat, but a good way to start, is going to the home page (or clicking Home at the top of the page) and typing basic keywords into the search box at the bottom of the category list on the left.

I was once accosted by a Krishna wearing a badge with the words "Gouranga: Be Happy" printed on it. When I told him I wasn't interested in whatever it was he was selling, he became quite pushy, insisting that I simply say "Gouranga"! Nothing else, just say it and be on my way! Of course I declined (out of principle you understand) and was pursued for several feet by a "happy" but insistant Krishna with an apparent death wish. They don't take threats very well for a peace loving group do they? GOURANGA = SLAP ME
