We two 60 year olds are planning a long w/e in Oct. Thought we would go to the west coast of Ireland as we have already done Dublin. We would like to fly from Manchester and get a taste of some traditional Irish hospitality. If you have done this and have any ideas, suggestions or recommendations they would be much appriciated.

Hi!
I flew into Kerry airport and thence to Killarney and those wonderful lakes. As previous person said - a weekend is not enough - there is a tour of the Dingle Peninsula to take and another trip round the Ring of Kerry. I can't wait to return! The craic in the Irish pubs is second to none.
you can fly to Knock airport from Manchester. Knock is handy to Galway and the rest of the west coast. If you go you'll have a ball.

check flights etc here:- http://www.knockairport.com/

enjoy....
