I've submitted my expired passport for renewal today using the Post Office Check & Send service & was told that it can take up to 2 weeks to arrive but I've heard that it can take as little as 4 days at quiet times, has anyone got theirs back as quickly around this time of year? I'm hoping to book a holiday abroad maybe in the next couple of weeks!

I used the online renewal service a couple of summers ago and got my new passport in about 1 week.
midsummer isn't exactly the quiet season for travelling, especially as the fees are going up in a couple of months. But with luck you'll have it in a week, maybe the Monday after.
my daughter sent hers 2 weeks b4 we flew and it took 6 days, we went 29th july
mine took 10 days, didn't bother with check and send, they sent me a text asking whether they could deliver between 9 and 5 the following day, then turned up at 6.30pm
