Hey all. I am going to rhodes first week of september.
Has anyone been and if so whats it like?

Also, it might be a silly question, but what stuff do i need (e.g plug connections, etc)

Hi i'm just back last week. Its very nice in Rhodes, abit warm just now but in Sept it'll be perfect. You will need a euro plug. I recommend going a day trip to turkey.

Its not too bad, but the food is worth every penny. Very tasty.

Hmmm, i am very fussy with my food though.
I only like meat and fish, etc.
Is there any places where they recommend you not to go because of being English?

Hi, went to Rhodes the last two weeks in August last year and it was great - much better than I was expecting, so much so I'm off again on Wednesday (tho' only for 7 days this time - boo). The only problems we had were with one Dutch family at apartments who were evil and shouted at everyone, and at the water park, where predictably the only people queuing were the British.

It's good value in Rhodes, food and drink quite cheap.

Take plenty of sun block - it will be hot and sunny. Also mozzie repellent for the evenings - spray on stuff and for the room as they have a vicious bite. Some resorts have shingle beaches so beach shoes are a must.

Which resort in Rhodes and for how long?

huh? what are shingle beaches?
Also, the operator never said i had to have injections :(
Dunno where i am going yet, its allocation on arrival.
It sohuld be good though, if not i can just upgrade to a better hotel.

take some fragranced nappy sacks !!!

Some hotels drainage cant cope with loo paper br=eing flushed down it and you have to put your used paper in a bucket ! ... Make sure u take the bags and put it in that 1st ... much nicer !!

what do you mean they cant cope with toilet paper?
What are you supposed to do if you need a poo?
