I need to buy 6 'point to point' tickets from Amsterdam to Munich this summer, does anyone know the easiest and cheapest way to do this? Phoning http://railbookers.com/ looks the best way to me at the moment. http://www.raileurope.co.uk wont let me do it as apparently there are to many changes. Is it easier to not do anyting until we get to Amsterdam and just buy it in the station?

Thanks.

there's a limited amount of very cheap tickets (20 Euros approx.) for various night connections inside germany and for some to european capitals i think. it's allways worth a try but you have to be quick as they are really limited!

I'm afraid I'm looking for a day journey. I really need to know should I book in advance or just get it when I get to Amsterdam station? Thanks
You could check on www.seat61.co.uk - the best rail travel site ever! There is nothing that man doesn't know about rail travel it seems so if the answer isn't on the site then you could email him.

WOW! What a great site - thanks henrietta !
Ffestiniog Travel 01766 512400 specialise in rail travel (they're part of the famous Ffestioniog railway in Wales). They're small, experts in rail travel, give advice over the phone, and my son works there!
Good idea - Ffestiniog is the only agency recommended by the man in seat 61. I think they charge a booking fee though (fair enough of course).
