heraklion - rethymnon

Does anyone know how long it will take to get from the airport to Rethymnon? We do not land until the early hours and the coach will be taking us to the hotel. Just wondered what time we will get to bed !

although Chris is technically correct, this journey will most likely take much longer travelling by coach as you will probably have many other drops along the way.

I have done this journey and it has taken 1.5 to 2 hrs depending on how many stops there are.

Worth it when you get there though - enjoy!!

I went to Crete and remember getting travel sick travelling back to the airport to go home. It is funny how I never got sick travelling there. I think I was sat on the wrong side of the coach. There are loads of winding mountain roads. Crete is a lovely country. I want to go back myself. I remember I had a night flight and it was delayed. We were meant to leave Gatwick about 7.30pm and we actually didn't leave till about 10.30pm+. We got to our apartment at 7.30am in the morning. It affects the time you are kicked out of your apartment on the day you leave too. We had to pay extra to keep it till late afternoon on the day we flew home at about 11.30pm.
