Is this health insurance card still valid for travel in Europe please?

We went to Majorca this summer and I read somewhere that the e-111 was no longer valid there. Ring your doctor's, the receptionist may know what is now needed - or even the post office as didn't the e111 come from them? As far as other countries are concerned I don't know, sorry.

my family have just got new cards, they are only valid in the EU apparently, and actually not in Turkey as far as my booklet said, and so i made sure we had proper insurance cover.

banned-dot, the EHI card only covers EU countries but even then you still need travel insurance.
