I am planning a trip to Orlando soon and have just received my VISA (I got one as I have a criminal record) I am still a little concerned as to whether I will get into the US. I have read so many horror stories. Can anyone tell me if they know of anyone who got a VISA and was still refused entry?

I don't know anyone personally, but you do read occasionally of cases where this has happened. They are few and far between and usually where the person concerned is not meeting the conditions of his visa - eg wanting to work on a tourist visa, or appears to be trying to take up residence via the back door (multiple trips visiting the same 'girl friend').

If you are just going on holiday then you will have no problems. If you have a visa you have a certain amount of 'pre-clearance' so it should just be a formality.
