Electricity sockets

I am going on holiday to Sharm el Sheikh next week and staying in a hotel please can you tell me the typeo sockets that are used ie 2 pin or 3 pin?

As CC states, Egypt uses 2 pins plugs, like this one:

The electrical supply is 220V, at 50Hz, so most UK equipment (which is designed for 230V at 50Hz) should work normally.

If you take a universal plug, available at most airports or Argos you wont have to worry.
