Airtours kinda thing

Sorry, I'm being presumptuous here: are you referring to charter flights and/or discount airlines? If you travel with one of the majors, i.e., BA, Malev, etc., the meal service is complimentary. However, there are carriers that do charge for meal service, such as Iberia. I'm not sure of your destination. But I would suggest that some of the payable meals are seldom true value-for-money. If your flight is of a short distance, you might prefer to save your money to apply at your ultimate destination. And instead, on your flight, take a small packet of crackers or crisps.

i flew a few times and didnt book meals because my daughter was only a babe and sat on my lap. as there was noone else travelling with us it was easier to take sandwiches and snacks. To answer the question, lol, when i flew with thomsons they sat us at the back of the plane if we hadnt booked a meal and we werent offered one. I flew with someone else and was offered a meal, i was honest and said I hadnt paid for one, they gave it me anyway because they had extra and another flight I was on told me I could buy one for 6
Hmm, that's interesting, I was of the same opinion as birdlegs, and wondered how they managed to sort out the none meals and those that wanted them as they never seemed to have a list with them when they produced the meals, It seems from the answers given that passengers not wanting meals are put to the back of the aircraft, but then I think it would confuse the issue if I was traveling with my wife, and we were sat together and I wanted a meal and she didn't, any way I'm off to gran canaria in November, and I will take particular notice, (I have paid for two meals by the way) lol, surely there must be a thomsons or thomas cook stewardess on a/b that can solve this for me,
