Hotel in Lyon, France

URGENT REQUEST.
Does anyone know of one or more budget hotels within easy walking distance of Lyon Part Dieu rail station?

We have already tried Googling the obvious chains such as Formule 1 etc but have not been able to find anything near the station.

Part-Dieu station is on the outskirts of the city centre, in a business district. The nearest hotel is in the Congress Centre, across the road:

your hotel need not be at Gare Part Dieu, since this station is well serrved by the urban transport system operated by TCL - see http://www.tcl.fr/site/00_plans_reseau/pdf/met ro_tram.pdf
fares are EUR1.50 & are valid for 1 hour from issue.

Chain hotels - particularly cheap ones - tend to be in industrial estates on the outskirts of town, not in the centre near the station.

Thanks for your replies. The problem seems to be that every hotel in Lyon is fully booked for tonight. Tomorrow and Saturday are no problem - it's just tonight.
