Can anyone recommend a cheap fare to Bangkok?

Yes, yesterday I booked a flight, leaving Heathrow on Saturday, direct to Bangkok for �371, which is pretty reasonable. There are lots of last-minute deals around. Try www.cheap-flights.com for suggestions

If you know the exact date you want to go, try www.expedia.co.uk, which will search several companies and come back with the best deal it can find

Try www.cheapflights.co.uk, they have a wide range of fares. I personally found Expedia.com did not have the best deals. The cheapest airlines are usually Bangladesh Biman, Kuwait Airways, Egyptair and Turkish ( you can actually call Turkish Airlines direct and ask for 'promotions'). The most popular airlines for good prices are Emirates and Gulf Air.
