hi going on long haul flight soon from manchester.thinking of going down night before and staying in hotel any one know of one nearest to airport so we can park as well .reasonable price for two weeks .

Bewleys might be your best bet; it has a 3 star rating and is within the Airport grounds.

Another hotel in the grounds is the Radisson SAS, but as 4 star, it will probably be more pricey.

Not a recommend to stay but a definite stay away from the Britannia - offers park and fly, but I suggest sleeping in the car before your flight would be better than in the hotel.

Restaurants are 'so so' for a feeding as a saving grace but the state of the place is not acceptable to charge guests.

Lots of alternatives - but maybe a look at the info at http://www.tripadvisor.com for any comments about your choice will also be of use as well as the above link.

I've used Bewleys a number of times - always clean - not too pricey. You leave your car there and they move it to a secure off site location whilst you are away and then bring it back for your arrival.

Would defo recommend - if you google them you'll soon find their website

I dont think you can beat starting the hol's off with the best. We stayed at the Raddisson & walked thru a tube walkway to the airport. Nice clean hotle . Differebt theme on each floor we had chinese style room & the restuarant food was good too.

Hi we agree with an earlier poster to stay away from the britania hotel as its a dump, However the Britania country house hotel is a good place to stay and also has a park and ride facility.

We know someone who works for the Hilton, and they do a special deal with two nights stay each end of the hol, and secure parking for your time away. The airport parking itself is very expensive, so this is a good option. Plus it's a really nice hotel and very convenient. The SAS Radisson is great but expensive, and Bewleys is fine but not as good value as Hilton.
