I wanted to upgrade my flight to Business Class with BA. I bought the flight through expedia. Anyway, I rang them last night and they asked me to call back today seeing as it involves them calling BA. I rang this morning and they said that their system was down and they would give me a call back. Took my number but never rang back. I rang at midday again and asked to upgrade, they put me on hold for 15 minutes, I got fed up and hang up. I sent them an email and guess what? I received one back saying that they have now cancelled my flight and will refund my money (whatever that may be).. I never asked them to cancel my flight! Seems like an admin error but can they cancel it without my permission? Where do I stand?
