I will be traveling to Eastern Europe/west-central Asia (Ukraine, Romania, Turkmanistan, etc.) to conduct research whilst in the Peace Corps. Does anyone have any insight as to the political climates in this area, or possible turmoil from terroist organizations (anti-American sentimentalism)

I don't know what your Peace Corps are but I think they should be aware of the most up to date information.
