The temps in August can reach the high 50s low 60s and considering they live 1500 feet up you can just imagine how hot it is on the coast. However in winter it can get quite cold and snowy on high ground. It can also rain heavily which the Cyproits are grateful for but this year there has been very little.Saying all that it can't be any worse than this country!
I'm with you, Norman; low 40s on the coast is about as high as it gets. Where in Cyprus is your property? We're up in the Troodhos, 3000ft above sea level. It does get pretty chilly in the winter -though still warmer than UK - and although it gets quite hot in the summer there's always a breeze to freshen things up.
