Singapore to Bangkok

I am flying to Singapore and 3 weeks later, am flying out of Bangkok - I was wanting to do a cheap tour or something to get me from Singapore to Bangkok, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Theres a train you can take which sounds quite nice. We were going to do it but couldnt in the end. If you just google train journey Singapore to Bangkok you should get it.
There are a number of budget airlines that do this route, Air Asia is probably the best. Singapore Airlines and Thai Airlines are not that expensive if you fly off peak.

The train takes about 2 days, reasonable scenery / experience, but not much use if short of time / money (it is more expensive than flying)
There's no point doing the journey, unless you know what you want to do en route. Where do you want to visit,?
