I'm going to Malta next week. Do they use the two-pin euro plug? What are prices like? And what is the weather like at this time of year? Any help appreciated. TIA.

this site might answer some of your questions. I have been to Malta but not for a few years so can't comment on what the prices are like there now. have a good time & hope this site helps!

I went in October - prices were a bit cheaper than here but not a great deal. The weather was roasting hot but not sure what its like at this time of year.

The hotel we went in (Fortina) had the same plugs as we use at home but I don't know if that is the same everywhere.
Malta has the same electrical supply, and plugs, as the UK:

Typical maximum daytime temperatures for this time of year are around 16C, falling to about 9C overnight. Average rainfall for February is 61mm. (For comparison, the average February rainfall for both London and Manchester is 51mm).

It's many years since I was in Malta but the prices then weren't that much different to those in the UK.

Most people seem either to love Malta or to hate it. I'm definitely in the former group (and now that there seem to be some cheaper flights advertised than there used to be, I'd love to go back soon).

I was there 3 years ago at this time, it was rainy but when not cold and we didn't need a coat a lot of the time. Prices were ok. What part are you going to?
i went this time of year 3 years ago....
the weather was worse than Wales on a bad day !
no joking, it was disgusting.
wet. windy. cold. thunder storms.
but... Malta is a cracking place.
:-)
Malta is OK for a one off.
Interesting historically, the people are very nice, but the landscape leaves a lot to be desired, reminded me of the Gaza Strip, or the Lebanon after a bombing raid,
It may have changed, I was there 5 years ago.
Have a good holiday!!

Hi, hope you have a lovely holiday. Weather at this time of year is variable. You could be lucky and have some lovely sunny days or you could be unlucky and have storms with rain and wind. When the sun shines it is lovely and warm but you'll need a jacket in the evenings. Plugs same as here, prices are slightly cheaper than here. They use the Euro now. Enjoy
